mugen headers
current setup is fuji exhaust and stock intake with k&n drop in filter. adding the header gave some needed torque down low. plus is the stock looking heatshield. my car was previously done up with j's intake, fuji header, and fuji exhaust with vafc but all that was sold after i got a referee ticket for emissions violations. once chp saw the bluish gold tint of the fuji header i knew that was it. that was almost 2 years ago and some points dropped off so got the mod bug again. fuji header and fuji exhaust gave topend power but not really any increase in torque even after tuning. dynocharts for local folks with mugen header really shows the fat increase at midened after tuning compared to my fuji setup so know this is a good combo with the fuji.
for mugen headers.

Rick's header produces the same gains as the Mugen, also includes the heatshield and is a much better price.

Mugen parts work well with Mugen parts...
you should get some nice mid hp, but i woul opt for the J's header or get the Fuji and keep it the same...

how do u know it doesn't work well with other parts? sorry but similar set up as mine dynoed 210(dynojet) after tuning. also know another member that lost hp with mugen header and mugen exhaust before vafc tuning. did have fuji header and exhaust and didn't do anything midend but lots of topend though. i know this because bay area folks like to dyno and tune immediately after getting i/h/e. btw j's intake and mugen intakes don't do jack at dynos. post is just an fyi to confirm that mugen header DOES give midend gains which are butt and dynoproven
