Default Mugen Intake Installation

If you have had this done in a shop, would you share your experience with me about:

How long should it take to get this installed, including cutting the hood?

How much should it cost?

I have the stock '03 bumper - is there any reason to take the bumper off during installation?

Thanks!

I installed my intake and took me about 5 hours including some break time. I used a small dremel to cut out the portion that the Mugen instructions recommended. I assume a shop can do it faster with the proper cutting tools. There is no reason to remove the bumper during this entire installation; even Mugen's instructions doesn't say anything about it being removed. Sorry, I wouldn't know how much a shop would charge for this type of job. I hope I helped out a little.

I installed the J's intake myself in three hours. But it was the night before a race and I didn't start until 12 midnight. I used a cut wheel on my drill and had a shop clean it up a few weeks after. I did not have to remove the bumper.
