HvRRZ, ... I would feel the same way, but i'm just waiting to post pics until my hardtop gets painted. Hopefully it will be done next weekend, the wing looks out of place without the hardtop.

I don't have a good side shot of the install, but here's what it looks like from the rear:
Also, the AP2 wing uses four holes rather than two. The mugen adhesive will cover up the other two if they are already drilled, but you may want to fill them if you are driving in the rain/snow, before installing the Mugen wing.

Hello, sorry for coming back to this old thread, if this post does not fit here I'll delete it or open a new thread.
I just got a Mugen wing replica (I'm not a fan of replicas but this one looked OK and the price was 3 times less than the original Mugen...). My question is how should be the contact between the mount and the trunk lid? My mounts come with a threaded hole for ONE bolt but nothing so far to protect the trunk lid from the contact with the aluminium mounts. What material comes with the original Mugen wing? Is it enough with a thin rubber sheet or you really need double side tape? I'd like to avoid the double side tape because I'd like to be able to remove the wing and at least once a year I'll have to take it off for our "technical inspection" of the car.
Thanks mates!

The only replica of the SS wing I know of is the Seibon one, it comes with a full 2x2 carbon fiber wing and 2 poorly black painted cast iron lower mounts, the upper mounts are steel, I think. Based off of the manual, it looks like the Mugen one comes with a piece of foam or rubber with adhesive on one side. You will also have to swap the trunk springs to a stronger set, the OEM 3rd brake light spoiler set should do it, CR trunk springs are too much(I have a set on my S2000).
