Well, from what I have seen from searching around you will get about the same gains from both.. The difference is you will pay a lil bit more for the Mugen.. For example the intake is about 250 more than the J's. I would recommend going with either a Toda or Berk header (both about 700) and go with an Invidia test pipe/Invidia V3 N1 Dual Cat back. Evasicemotorsport is holding a promotion right now with the Invidia products, as well as other brands, and will hook you up with a good deal if you PM them. This setup will yield you good gains and be significantly cheaper than going all out J's or Mugen.. Im talking in the ballpark of 1500 for a FULL exhaust. As far as intakes go... If you are willing to put out the money for a J's (about 1100) then go for it.. Otherwise you might want to get yourself a spoon snorkel and/or CF cooling plate.. I just purchased a J's racing cooling plate that directs air into the stock airbox for 275 from Evasivemotorsports website. You gotta realize that our cars were engineered pretty well so it isnt like taking a civic and throwing i/h/e and tune and making like a 50whp gain lol.
