Default My set-up...

I'm curious to know what kind of power people are making with this set-up.
I currently have an AEM V2, Toda Flywheel, ACT Clutch. Having a custom 3" exhaust made with a HKS carbon ti canister(tubro version), as well as waiting for the J's exhaust manifold. I've yet to buy an EMS, but that will soon be on the way.

Anyone have a similar set-up as far as the 3" exhaust goes? I'm curious if I should stick with my Berk's test pipe or get a bigger piping diameter test pipe made custom? I don't think the berk's will affect the power gains since it is 2.5 inch.

I plan to go turbo at a later that, but I'm not worried about having to sell parts afterwards. I plan to encorporate the V2 with the turbo kit, and well exhaust will be set. The J's would be the only thing I'd have to get rid off.

That's all I have as for now. Lemme know of any thought or suggestions.

you're losing power by having a 3 inch exhaust on a na car. You need more backpressure...stick with 2.5 inch

actually i got the exhaust made, and there is no loss of power. the engine revs nicely, and you can feel the differnce in performence. Don't listen to everyone else. According to Church the 3 inch gives better gains then the 2.75 inch. ou lose power f you still have the CAT on, but it shows better gains when it's a straight pipe.

Basically you have an I/E/H. So maybe a 5-6hp gain, if that. About a thousand members have these mods...

HvRRZ i have KN filter and spoon cat back, with just catback i made 213rwhp on a mustang dyno. since then i have now added berk TP, and a VFAC tune soon, i except about 220rwhp of maybe 225 with good tuning. so you have to make atleast more than 213rwhp! do what makes power, i went through like 5 intakes to find the best one, trial and error is the best way i suppose. do some pulls and post some bragging rites!!!!!!

yes but a thousand members can't beat evo9 and m3's wth only intake, and test pipe as power mods

awesome numbers with just the exhaust .

I am going to get a dyno once I have what I feel is enough, and once I get the ems. For now my car is out of comission. It seems I may be making more power now then my axles can handle because my left axle wsited and snapped, so I hink I am going to go ahead and do the nissan diff conversion . we'll see what happens, it's going to be checked out on tuesday.
