has anyone had the megan 2.5 inch exhaust by anychance?

how does it sound compared to the hks hi-power?

i had a apexi WS dual & went to the megan single 2.5 in. The power diffrence is incredible, its pretty loud but mostly in the 2-3k range.

 

well does it drone?

 

currently my mods are J's header,tp and hks no-power

lol and the aem intake (v2)

 

If its loud in the 2k to 3k range then the answer is yes it drones

The difference in sound is pretty significant. The megan will be much louder than the hks. The megan will also net you some good gains, since it's a single. The hks will give you only sound, some say the hks even loses hp but it's a myth. I'd go with the megan

 

megan has drone.... but it sound decent and looks nice

 

Megan drones like all hell. I have the single now with berk test pipe. Screams at VTEC. Heres a short sound clip. I personally like the exhaust.

i just installed everything moments ago...FREAKING LOUD!

but damn does she sound mean...

compared to the HKS yeah it is SUPER loud but i was surprised that it doesnt drone as much as i thought it would. Being said compared to my old exhaust the JIC D1 spartan Ti, its not as loud. So im VERY happy with their product. Vtec screams and normal driving need to get used to LOL
