Default Need help installing a Takata harness...

I am wondering where the lower eyebolts go. According to the takata installation manual you can use the factory holes for the factory seatbelt mounts. I have heard from another user that it is safer to put the eyebolts in the floor board behind the seat. Any help you guys can give would be great. Thanks!

brian, the bottom eyebolts go where the seatbelt anchors to the car (replace bolt with eyebolt) and on the otherside you have to drill a whole in the transmission tunnel and install with a steel plate. the seatbelt buckle seat rail location is not safe.

Any way you can show me exactly where that hole has to be drilled? You sure the rail location isn't safe? Just want to make sure.

Mount it to the harness bar on a rollbar.

Mugen. Came close to buying it but decided on the cusco as I didn't want to lose the speakers in the factory roll hoops.
