It appears that they did. Saves quite a bit of weight as I'm told.

AmusePanda, sweet S2k with the widebody kit!

I can't believe how you're local to the Upstate crowd, just never talked with you on the Upstate NY forums as much.

Keep up the good work, car looks HOT.

and what better place to remove weight than from the highest point on the car...so it aslo helps lower the car's center of gravity and reduces body roll.

When I installed my Remix hardtop, I removed my soft top and the motors that operates it. I can't remember the exact weight, but I remember shaving somewhere between 50-60 pounds. I noticed a HUGE difference on the butt dyno

Has anyone kept a normal exhaust and plugged in the holes designed for exhaust outlets?

Yea, on the rear of the wide-body it has those two holes that are elevated for a specially modified exhaust to exit that way. Has anyone had a "normal" exhaust like t1r or j's with this rear bumper and plugged in the exhaust holes.. or do people just run with the holes empty and the exhaust hanging from the normal spot?

Might be a different version of the rear bumper but something like this can be done also.
