Sorry, but you just cannot go with one brand
. Each brand specializes in one area IMO. Brakes has one top brand, exterior has another and so forth.
Exterior- ASM
Interior- Mugen
Brakes- Endless
Motor- Toda
Hardtop- Mugen
Suspension- Penske
You cannot top that IMO with any one brand. ASM does not specialize in brakes nor does Toda. Endless does not specialize in engine building and so forth and so on.
But if I had to pick only one (which would never happen), I would go Toda.

But if I were to go off your theory.

If I am doing a one make project with my own money, I'd pick J's. It's the best value out of the JDM companies.
If its a dream car with free money and one make only, Amuse GT1 replica no contest. (if I can cheat and use ce28, stock wheels would not look good with the GT1 kit)

For me, factory reliability matters. So, I would limit all motor to bolt ons(ie NO internal work)
SO, Street:
FULL Mugen w/17 CE28n's. For a full street car, and ocasional AutoX or track. Reason: Dual exhaust, bit more back pressure, easier for street use. Nzero's are great for street and track. QUIET. But still angry enough for track. And also suttle looking.
MOSTLY Track:
FULL J's Racing w/17 CE28n's AND Mugen HT. Reason: 70 MM, Loud, less back pressure, More Vtec happiness. Full kit Looks Angrier..
