No such thing as a "power chip",for our cars.

Yes there is. I have a Cobb Stage 13 making around 734hp. Bumps up the S2ks stock boost to 54psi.

Fuel pressure and hampsters don't count.

man you guys are mean.

but as for the OP, there are a couple of ECU's that you could get that could net you some alright gain. or you could get greddy emanage and have it tuned. i personally prefer greddy emanage. heres a link of a couple of ECU's and greddy emanage:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=415959

AJ PwR stated that:

"1) Spoon ECU
I have dynoed on Spoon AP1's car with Spoon intake, Spoon header and N1 exhaust and there was 2whp from low to top. Once we switched the exhaust to the 70mm, it gained another 10whp. I don't have the plots cuz it was awhile back when I did this.

2) Mugen ECU
I have dynoed on JL9000 with Mugen intake, Mugen header and Amuse dual exhaust. Gains are 0whp at peak. There were about 15whp gained at 9k.The only thing changes was the A/F. Mugen has a constant curve staying at 13ish.

3) J's ECU vs Mugen
This dyno was done with s2kboy03. He has J's intake, J's header, T1R 63mm exhaust. From 3000-5600, Mugen makes about 2whp more over J's. J's VTEC engages at 5600rpm and they tried to remove the VTEC dip while Mugen VTEC engages at 5900-6000rpm. There were 14whp gained with J's from 5600-6000rpm. From 6000-8200rpm gains were the same. Peak power Mugen has 3whp over J's. At 9k Mugen made about 5whp over J's as well."

and emanage

OK, I know every one wants to see how much peak power was made. Well I have a stock AP2 and it dynoed at 217hp and 152tq. After E-Manage, Tune and colder plugs i made 232hp and 163tq. That's great that I made 15hp but the big thing is and making 10+ ftlbs of torque before vtec. I picked up 30 ftlb torque at 2200 rpms . From 2200 to vtec i am making between 136-142 ftlb torque. The torque curve is so flat now. The power increase is very noticeable.

yay. i can search AND copy n paste. i is smart.

Just to give you a comparison. The same day an AP1 with I/E pulled 218hp. The car may have had more done as I can't remember the specifics.

I was happy with 217 hp. Not 100% stock. Gutted airbox and K&N dropin filter.
