Default Quick release hub

I am looking for a quick release, but I want to know which one is the thinnest? I know that the Alex Steering Quick Release Adaptor is pretty thin. What else?

why do you want a thin one?

also, what setup will allow the aftermarket steering wheel to stay the same distance as oem?

I use a Works Bell hub and FET Quickrelease Spacer with Spoon Steering wheel, on my EG6, and it is almost identical to the OEM distance.

and the reason for wanting a short one is exactly that ^. not to mention a little weight savings, which is always a good thing when you are talking about anything steering. there is massive difference when going from a steering wheel with a heavy airbag to a Spartan single piece wheel that weights very little, the amount of feel gained is prett significant.

definitely haven't heard good things about NRG from people that have used both.

another good advantage of the FET is that it is a complete twist to lock connection resulting in no free play at all.

always keep in mind that on a lot of cars, you should really think of a steering wheel and seat as a sort of package thing, on the S2000 it isn't as much as an issue because the OEM steering wheel is already relatively small and the seating position is quite good.

im still confused on what to get.

I was thinking about a splash hub with a spoon wheel, but im not sure what quick release to purchase. i need my wheel the same distance as the oem is.

I have a Splash hub, NRG quick release, annd Spoon wheel. Its a little further than stock but close enough. It actually works better with my Spoon bucket seat.
