Why would buddy club seats give you any more room than Mugens or Brides or Recaros? Just curious to know, are they thinner, have less lean?
I think they are referring to OEM with the bar and loosing leg room.
Hard Dog is the place to go. They are making the Elda/GoFastLabs roll bar now. I put one in my car a few months back. Major PITA to get all the interior bits out and trim them to fit, but the bar itself fit perfectly. With the seat all the way back you lose a couple of clicks of recline (or, with the seat reclined you lose a couple of clicks of aft movement).
You can get it with welded-in or bolt-in harness bar and diagonal.
With a removable harness bar, mine cost $600.
Really easy guys to deal with, and they had it to me when they said they would.
Looks GREAT in the car. Can't even see it in the rearview with the top down. Comes with low-profile high-density pad that sticks to the front side of the main hoop.
