Thank you for the offer. I finished the install this morning. It turns out that I needed to mount the rears points first or else they would be off the floor when I went to mark them after the fronts were bolted down.

Wasnt it fun squezzing between the bars & roll hoops with the top up to get into the back?

... that install was a nightmare. It was simple, but definitely the least favorite thing that I have installed on the car. I was actually use to having my head smashed in the trunk from when I did the fuel pump. Atleast this time I didn't have to smell gas fumes.

Try changing the fuel pump after the roll bar is in place. Talk about a Pita

is there any other write up for the safety21/ cusco bar? I couldn't find one, but i know i could have shaved about 1 hour off the install time if i had known what exactly to do!

Anyway, reason i ask is because i took pictures during the entire process and i'm probably going to do a write up if people are interested (and if no one else did one). I looked at the DIY network link, but that one had the soft top out already which makes it so much easier! i did mine w/ the top in.

search in under the hood and type in cusco cage. Someone made a 7 point write up that I used actually.

^^not bad! thanks! here is the link incase someone searches this thread:
6pt cusco roll cage installation

I searched before, but i didn't find that one.

I think that i'll still do my write up though, i took more detailed pictures and mine is the 5point. I also did a few things differently.

^ I'm sure there would be many people that were appreciate a good write up for the rollbar install. I know that I was scratching my head a little bit when I did mine.

I just finished mine up last week, it took about 4 hours and i made the mistake of installing the front first and then trying to get the back ones to line up with the backplates what a pain in the ass. One side took me about two hours and the other took 10min. Working with top up and my head stuck in between the windscreen and the top with sweat all over my face sucked!
