Considering picking up an Invidia dual exhaust for my '00. i know they have a silencer for the single model, but are there silencers available for the dual version?

I got mine with the exhaust, don't listen to the way to loud guy, takes about 3 months to break them in and get the carbon built up, then they sound great...

Maybe the vendor is jerkin you around, is her offering to sell them separately?

Your right. It wasn't waaaay too loud it just droned too much when you are inside the car. I could barely hear the radio and hold a conversation with passengers when the revs were between 3000 and 5000 or so.

(Note: I live in an area where the police will site you for running loud exhausts and this exhaust would have gotten me fix it tickets frequently )

I will admit that at WOT it does sound really good though!

I was thinking the same thing about the vendor trying to make extra money by selling them seperate or maybe sold them to someone else looking for them to make a buck

I have been running a single for about 3 months now. It was unbearably loud while it was breaking in. There was no way I could run without the silencer. Now that it is broken in, I can run without the silencer and it sounds perfect.

I did get a fix it ticket last week though

Good luck!

I have the duals and the silencers are junk. There is one bolt to attach them and the rattling is worse than any silencing they do. The exhaust is loud but much lighter than stock. Bigger straighter piping too. Did I mention the burnt tips look boss?
