I can't stand it when people do that. There is a reason the front calipers are larger than the rears. Putting the same sized brake setup on the rear as the front is going to throw off your brake bias.
I suppose its possible that someone could compinsate for that with some sort of biasing valve, but I doubt that they went that far.

I say just leave them the way they are, not a fan of painted stock calipers here. If I have to paint them, black is the way to go.
