i was wondering which is the better one out of the two. as of right now im running a spoon snorkel with a K&N air filter with a gutted box. and i also have a comptech intake systm. never try out the comptech one yet and before installing it , i want to know is the comptech intake systm a better intake? dont want to to take the stock one out and install the comptech one if it make less power. please help... thanks

 

They're about the same, the only reason to switch to the Comptech would be if you found it more attractive.

 

You already have them both at your disposal? Why don't you just put the Comptech in and decide for yourself? Geez, I wish I had this problem.

Does the spoon snorkle make power?

I just thought it helped w/ heat sink.

 

Spoon snorkel makes horsepower at speed, from like 50mph on. If you really need that extra couple horsepower from 0-50 then the Comptech may be the way to go....

Oh yeah and by the way slackfaster, sick body kit, the C-West Ver.II is amazing!

the point of an intake is for better cooling... comptech wont help you nearly as much since it's sucking air from the bay itself.

snorkel is much more efficient, it draws outside air, and at speed, the air is even cooler going into the airbox.

spoon snorkel + spoon air filter are a great combo. The only way to upgrade from that is j's or mugen
