PSS9 is better than SRC?
but then you get to actually try off every setting with the dual EDFC on SRC

Riley, dont forget the spring rates are also higher on the SRC. so its gunna be a rougher ride.
That combined with the amount of lowering he wants and super thin tires will cause him to retire early

Riley, I HIGHLY recommend you buy custom spec Swift springs for your coilovers whichever you buy. At the very least it is worth thr $400 investment. You will kiss my feet in return. J/K But thats how much you will like them.

Jsdude, nobody ever said that the pss9 is better than the SRC per se. It is better for daily driving though.

Not all of us have baller budgets.
Everyday I wish I had a baller budget. Sadly I do not have that anymore. Marriage takes that all away.

I find it hard to believe Riley has tried the KW's and PSS9's. Personally the design of the shock is better than that of off the shelf Teins/BCs/Megans etc. I believe he doesn't like them simply because they aren't JDM. I'd love to hear feedback from the members who's cars he's driven that have those suspensions. I believe he's talking out of his @$$ as to not liking them simply because they don't have a "third perch" I demand a Pepsi challenge of him blind folded and given a thorough drive (by a track/HPDE enthusiasts) with each type of C/O mentioned and I'm sure he will fail on his ASSumptions. But that's JMHO!

i havent had them on my car ive driven cars with them, thank you very much.

double perch suspensions are worthless if you plan to have to lower car and also have preloads adjusted. u have to adjust height to adjust preloads.

thanx for contributing to the thread tho.. appreciate it.

Talk to maxrev and visit his site, maxrev.net iirc. seems to be a very nice set up but if you don't plan to track the car frequently, I'd recommend KW V.3's.

Good Luck!

Rob had KW3 on his set up but due to his need for a higher spring rate (1000lbs) he went w/ Tein's SRC.

Going with the SRC's will be a more harsher ride, but on the Track MaxRev tears it up .

You cant even compare or put the PSS9 in the same category as the Tein SRC

I got rid of my PSS9 for the Tein SRC.......for the track there is no comparison.

Riley, you can always do what I did. Only real down time is the time it takes them to get the new springs from Japan...
