I weighed it b4 I put it on and YES it's lighter than stock......11 lbs!!!

I was told it would be around 9-10 lbs so maybe my scales a little off, still I am very happy with the weight saving I got. My OEM hood weighed in at 17.5 lbs

ASM provided rivets ( 4 pins ) for the divider.
It is removable so you can tune for air flow considering what track and conditions you are running.

How can you tell the hood damper are wet carbon? They look like glossy carbon to me.

PAINT IT!!! Maybe leave the divider unpainted. Right now from anything more than 10 feet away it looks like a primered metal hood. Paint it!

ASM advertises it as wet carbon.

Cover the hood with vinal, then paint it. Then you dont have to worry about resell.

If you go the vinyl route, make sure that the paint doesn't eat through the vinyl (ie. buy some paint and paint on vinyl sample test strip applied to your hood).

I learned the hard way.

You can try to buff out those marks. My ASM hood had some similar marks/swirls (not as many though), but most of it came out.
