Default Toda header ?

Yes I have done a search, and every thread I see people say Toda has proven mid range and so on.

Does anyone actually have any before/after dyno proof to show what just the addition of a Toda header will do? I am interested in something that will leave the top end virtually the same but fatten up the area under the curve in the middle of the rpm range.

Every Toda header thread is second hand but I was wondering if someone dynoed it and wishes to share. Maybe the actual "proof" threads are to old and show up on page 15 of my search.

Also is the Toda the one notorious for breaking a weld or is that the Mugen?

A million thanks in advance.

It's Toda. The bracket that secures the header to the lower part of the engine is poorly engineered. When I breaks, Toda nor their distributors won't warranty shit.

My dyno with the Toda header + mods

Dyno says about 10-11hp gain in the midrange. My dyamic buttometer concurs. The bracket on mine is also broken, but the header is fine without it. Hasn't fallen off my car just yet. Why would you want to leave the topend alone, may I ask? I wouldn't mind having some more. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a VAFC to lean out my AF as you'll see that my car runs somewhat rich up top.

I would not mind more top end either, just more concerned about adressing my major complaint right now.

I am debating whether or not to get a little midrange and maybe a VAFC and be done with it or take the plunge on an SC kit. I am pretty happy with it right now, its just the bog down low bugs me a bit. Though I would not think a header alone would solve it for me.
