Yes, you are correct. I have a lovefab 3" single on my car and between the huge piping and the gigantic apexi turbo muffler I had to cut away half of the diffuser to make it fit. After hours of cursing, cutting, and adjusting, I finally got it to fit onto the car. The best that I could get it is with the right side a hair lower then the left, but this is a hell of a lot better then not fitting the car at all. I would like to thank everyone here for their advice and help with the install. I will post a pic in a few, but a word of caution for future members of the forum, if you have a big turbo exhaust, you should probably not get a diffuser.

Is it because the muffler sits lower than most? Why not take the exhaust to a muffler shop and get a different hanger welded on so that it sits closer if thats the problem?! Post pics, because Im not sure if I understand you correctly.

Ryan, yes, it is because the muffler sits so low that I had all of the problems. I doesn't sit low because of the hanger position though, its the actual design of the piping and the angle that the muffler sits at, so the muffler shop sould have to make new piping, not just a hanger. I'm uploading the pics now.

I just snapped a few pics, please excuse the excessive dirtiness, the rain is killing me.

When its not so dark outside i'll take some pics from underneath so you can get an idea of what I had to cut to make the damn thing fit.
