So only one dyno run was done per header? In an ideal world, 10 dyno runs should be performed, averaged out (the mean rather than the highest hp produced), and compared using statistical analysis. The 3rd party tester is a good thing at least to eliminate bias.

actually if you compare the j's with all the other headers side by side, the j's is not the best quality. my attraction to the j's has always personally been for the diamater of the piping.

it is surprising to see these results though and yes it would have been great to have seen multiple dyno runs and possibly even a 70mm single instead of the hks dual, i think the j's would have performed much better with a larger exhaust diameter.

I agree ^ J's Header + 70MM Single Exhaust = POWER

alright guys im gonna be purchasing a j's header shortly because i already own a 70mm J's 70rr. so within the next two weeks or so im gonna try and see if someone is willing to help me test a tracy sports one too while im at the dyno. i actually might end up buying both if none can help me and the one that makes less power ill just sell.
so this is what the setup will be:
J's70rr + J's header + J's intake with an Aem Ems. i really dont believe the tracy sports is that much better but if it is im willing to eat my own words. Im also considering testing the comptech intake with this set up too.

this would be a good test, though i would expect the j's to do better on a 70mm exhaust then the tracy sports...and vice versa on the 60mm/63mm exhausts.

j's racing's header's multiple welds do not = bad quality (it doesn't look clean like the others, but that's unrelated to quality). It is actually very constructed. The hks exhaust obviously skewed results as well. The best would be to run no exhaust

Hi Guys

I called up Yama-Tracy on Thursday to ask about a header for my S2. He later on E-mailed me that the full race version manifold would cost me 350,000yen.

I am still thinking about it as it is expensive. But probably will consider it. I hear alot of great things about Tracy Sports. Im sure this is the manifold to get guys. Im waiting for him to send me some figures.

I will let you all know what he says.

I guess you have to be "richyrich" to buy a header for almost 4k USD
