I saw this hood that is made by Seibon called Top Secret II:





As far as I know, Seibon only copies JDM hoods, and has no original designs, but I looked at the Top Secret website, and I couldn't find this hood.

Is this hood a copy of an actual JDM Top Secret Hood?

its not true jdm hood, top secret only has 1 type and 1 type only.

 

It's a true USDM hood...sorta!

 

I like the Top Secret II hood style, but I'm looking for a 1x1 weave, with a CF frame. That's why I was hoping there was a JDM version.

The only hood I really like is the original JDM Amuse, but the price is ridiculous.

Yeah that is *gasp* an ORIGINAL design (to my knowledge) that someone at Seibon actually came up with themselves. Will wonders never cease!!!

 

This is the Top Secret hood for the S2000. Only one version, comes in Carbon and FRP versions. Weave is 1x1, weight is 12 lbs in carbon, and fitment is great.

Actually, no, it is NOT AN ORIGINAL DESIGN!!! it's a Weber Sports Replica... I guess it's easier to market it as a Top secret design since not everyone knows weber sports...
