I am a Huge advocate for piggy's like the Ultimate E-manage, what i meant by ditching the VAFC for some real tuning, i ment something that was able to control fuel as well as ing timing.....

Im am slowly starting to collect performance parts for my S, but wanted your opinions on 2 things. My S is my weekend toy, odd weekday driver. Im looking to add some more "pep", and hoping to hit the odd track day (2-3 times this year, hopefully).
1. What do you think of my choice in parts?
2. What kind of WHP you guys think I will make?
Here is what I currently have, and have in mind to add...
Currently
J's Tsuchinoko Intake - installed
Vafc2 - not installed
T1R 63mm test pipe - not installed
Looking to add
ASM 70mm Single Exhaust System
Hytech Header
By adding the parts above, and tuned with my Vafc what do you N/A heads figure I can make? My S will be dyno'd on a Mustang dyno.

Yah nice choice of parts -- and the J's intake isn't really going to give you any more WHP on a dyno, it works at speed so you would have to measure it at at least like 60 mph to see what benefits it gives your engine, but it is a great piece that makes your car quicker in the real world. Speaking of which, you should definately get gears too
[QUOTE]I would get the cheaper Invidia 70mm single that just came out. Hell, if that was out I woulda got that over the T1R just because of the cost. 70mm pipe is a 70mm pipe nomatter how you cut it. Whichever one has the least resonators and mufflers will make the most power. I really could careless about JDM bling as long as the exhaust fits. Sell your VAFC and pickup an Emanage if you are going to stay common plenum. This will be enough to handle any of your fuel and timing needs. Hytech header

I've opted to hold off on the ASM 70mm exhaust for now, too expensive for me right now.
I had a good long chat with John from Hytech today and there is some good news coming very soon
Im going to hold out and see what he has planned.

but you can get the party started with a 70mm and Engine management ( whichever you choose).
with those 2 mods tuned properly you are looking at around 20-30 WHP depending....

IMO if you got some info from john about cams/header combo you should wait if you know something that the rest of us dont?

Im still considering a 70mm, just not sure which now? The ASM 70mm was just too much for me to spend on an exhaust. Im looking at the T1R 70V3, or considering a J's, although J's is not that much cheaper than an ASM system.
