i think it should be fine.

my friend had 17x7 +42 and it took about 8mm to clear.

Yeah thats what im thinking. It should work, but it might be really close.

You could always order 3mm spacers from AJ-R if you needed them and still not have to run extended studs.

at most you will need minimal spacers

i had 17x7.5 +43 & cleared Brembo without spacers. it was perfect.

Brembo caliper is a few mm bigger than Spoons caliper.

Yeah...if theyre forged, they will not flex, so you should be fine.
