Default Zoom Engineering CF wide angle mirror install

I had some free time today to do this install, so i figured i'd just do a little step by step. Took me only a few minutes to do. The supplied directions are in Japanese.

Item: Zoom Engineering - Carbon Fiber wide angle anti-glare rear view mirror
Tools needed: 1 allen key (provided with mirror)
Time: 5-10 minutes
Experience needed: none

Step 1:
Tilt the oem mirror up and to the right to gain access to the mounting plate of the mirror. simply push upward on the plastic coverplate on the window mount and remove.

Step 2:
Grab the mirror above the mounting point and pull slightly out, and push down at the same time to allow the mirror to slide off the metal mount fixed to the window.

Step 3:
Your oem mirror should now be removed, exposing the aluminum mount stuck to the window surface.

Step 4:
Remove the allen screw in the Zoom base with the supplied allen key. take the half circle metal disk, and inseart it upward from the bottom into the aluminum window mount.

Step 5:
Take the new mirror and base and insert the stainless allen screw into it. Align it with the window mount, and half circle disk with threaded hole. Once aligned, thread the allen screw into the plate until it is drawn snug and there is no play.

Step 6:
Adjust your new Carbon mirror for driving and enjoy!

Please update us when you're able to test the anti-glare effect at night.

Who carries these? I hate the stock mirror. You adjust it to night mode and it doesn't line up correctly - drives me nuts.
