Zoom Rearview Mirror Review
Hello everyone,
I just got a yellow Zoom rearview mirror installed on my car, and since I haven't heard much about the mirrors, I thought I would share my experiences.
(1) The mirror looks great (personal opinion) -- it just does.
(2) The install is incredibly easy, just slide off the stock mirror, slide the Zoom mirror on, and tighten it down with an allen wrench.
(3) The mirror has a blue tint on it, which helps to eliminate glare -- not just from the sun, but from headlights, which is a big plus.
(4) The mirror is convex. This gives it a wider viewing angle, while at the same time allowing you to judge the distance of objects direcly behind you better. However, it makes them seem farther away, so it's not good for checking out that hottie in the Benz behind you, or for trying to spot the Po-Po.
(5) The mirror dips down in the middle. This allows you to set the mirror high enough to see a wide field behind you, yet still see through the space in between the two seats. Although I silently doubted the usefulness of this dip, it is very convenient.
(6) The only bad thing I can say about it -- it is wider than the OEM mirror. This means that, at the angle I have the mirror set, you can not put the passenger's side visor down (you have to move the mirror over). While I could care less, the girl I'm dating sees it as a huge annoyance. So if you don't want to annoy your passenger (and don't have the balls to tell them to use a compact), this might not be the mirror for you.
Pics will be up tomorrow, but I had to share how awesome this mirror is!

+1 for E-Autosports, they're a good vendor, and the yellow one goes well with Spa too (maybe a little bright for Rio, but check it out)

I have one and like it alot more than the broadway it replaced and 100X's more than the OEM mirror.
With a Hardtop or topdown the benefits are aewsome (with this mirror and the craft squares I have no blindspot at all!!!), with the soft top up it does not really help since the window is so small.
