Description:
Sharing on here to gauge interest, it is a RHD car which I've owned in UK since 2023. It's being imported to Florida this year as it turns 25 years old and I'll be parting ways with it, if anyone is seriously interested this would make a great fun car.
UKDM MY2000 Honda S2000 launch spec Silverstone Metallic with Red leather interior (Type Z). It has been well-cared for under my care and always garaged. The previous owner (S2K Owners Club Member) had the car since early 2011, only driving it in the summers and stored in a heated garage otherwise.
It has ~90k miles, and under my care has undergone fairly substantial amount of preventative maintenance including all new seals in the top half of the engine, new spark plugs, new AC condenser, new pulleys and belts, and light modifications including stronger AP2 intake retainers, Koyorad radiator with a Spoon expansion cap and a Bilman Timing Chain Tensioner (TCT). Michelin PS4 tyres with less than 2000mi all around. All required care has been taken to preserve this gem of an engine (valve clearances last checked in May 2024). The transmission & diff oil changed at 81k miles. Both side rear brakes replaced at 90k along with OEM Honda clutch kit to fix the early model AP1 clutch buzz TSB along with the rear main seal and dust boot while in there. All pre-03 UK cars also got the 4-hole Banjo/Oil jet bolt product upgrade recall by Honda UK, and there are no active recalls for this VIN.
Interior-wise, its condition definitely defies its age. It has ALPINE MRV-T420 amplifier with Infinity Kappa series speakers, ALPINE CDE-9850Ri head unit, giving it quite a punchy, yet clear sound. It has the Modifry central console organiser, which believe it or not is really useful! Also got the Modifry soft top straps.
Something you won't have to worry is the red crinkle paint flaking off the valve cover, as this has been painted to match the body colour with proper clear coat.
I have the full set of 3 keys, all relevant paperwork, service book with stamps, manuals, folders and the book on the S2000. I have enjoyed this car over past two years of ownership, having spent a substantial amount on bullet-proofing the powertrain side of things.
Last year I got a freshly painted Berlina black OEM hard top (for the CR look) with full fitting kit + tonneau cover + stand included in sale (hard top is currently installed on car).
Also, UKDM cars are not limited to 180kmph / 112mph like the JDM imports.
I shipped it from Southampton UK to Jacksonville Florida and it arrived around thanksgiving time. My wife and I drove it Coast to Coast up to San Francisco California in 4 days. Now the car has done both the NC500 and the C2C across the pond. Total coast to coast drive was 3100 miles and the best mileage was 32mpg (US gallon) on non-ethanol premium fuel. The odometer is now sitting closer to 94k miles and will continue to go up as I drive it on the weekends.
Since its time in California, it’s got an oil change, new front brakes (Centric blanks with PST 829 semi metallic pads) and Goodridge brake lines with Motul RBF600 brake fluid.
After driving it coast to coast, I’m on the fence for selling it right away as I still want to enjoy it for some more time before parting ways but open to chat with anyone who’d be interested in the car.

I also finally installed the set of Mita JDM AP1 Style Wheels in 17” that I’d been holding onto for the past 2 years with RE71RS tyres and added an OEM style rear lip spoiler as well.
Some photos from both events and a recent photo shoot (on a film camera) as well:
