$17 Bucks For A Bottle Of Gm Synchromesh Fm ?
Went to the Cadillac dealer and they had no clue what I was talkin bout. Went to a Chevy dealer and they did have the regular GM Synchromesh on the shelf but had no idea there was Friction Modified version. But me being stupid, I had the wrong part number with me and that prevented me from ordering the right fluid while I was at the dealer.
Got back to the office and called them back with the proper part number, but it costs like $17 bucks a bottle.
Anyone else bought this from a different dealer at a cheaper price? I really dont mind the $17 a bottle (I'd gladly pay $50 a bottle to get rid of the 2nd gear grind), but if other dealers have them on the shelf at a cheaper price, I want to go there.
BTW, the chevy dealer I went to was Rosenthal Chevy in Arlington.

From what I've read on Honda-Tech, the GM is the same as the Delco and Penzoil stuff you can get at the auto parts stores. They've all got regular and FM variants, so make sure you don't just grab the regular one.
