Thread over on HT w/ the builder giving more info: http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1683773&page=1

Couple of threads on s2ki about it:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=407630
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=406902

It appears that although it works, the RS ratio with the shorter h22a rods seems to be undesired.

I'll check those out when I have some time.

but even with all of that said, my point still stands. You can get these parts that have been put together by random people and made to work, but according to this thread there have yet to be any real dyno sheets or real world data that could be used to compare this setup to the stock motor and any of the other options.

You know me man, I'm paranoid about little stuff. I'd rather get a properly tested kit that comes with a warranty (Inline PRO) rather than slap together some parts to save money...

Nothing against Inline or Toda, but I'm pretty sure they aren't the only 2 companies who can come up with a good kit. It'll be interesting to see how it unfolds either way.

1) After reading about it and talking to some people about it, my skepticism for this setup is MUCH less... Although I would still like to see some dyno charts simply for comparison's sake.

2) Who said anything about no other companies being able to come up with a good kit? I merely cited examples of companies who had already released kits that were successful and more known than this new setup.

3) I thought this whole thread and idea was based on the premise that no "company" has made this "kit" therefore making it cheap and affordable? How can you use this specific setup to imply another "company" releasing a kit when this setup isn't a formal kit from an individual company? I mean isn't it just oem parts from Honda put together on your own?

Note my use of the word "setup" and not "kit" since it isn't a formal "kit" at this time...

1. hopefully someone can post numbers soon on it

2. noone. You were simply stating your personal preference of company to buy a kit from. I was simple saying I'm sure there are other companies out there who can come up with something. I'm just trying to keep minds open

3. I'm not sure who's comment you are referring to, but I think someone will put all the parts together and sell it as a kit with a small markup. If a company buys all these parts in bulk I'm sure they could put them all together and resell as individual kits and make a good amount of money. Now....that's assuming this whole idea is is good.....which I think remains to be seen still. I'd personally rather buy all the parts at once in a kit form then shop around and have parts coming from different places and such.

Why haven't other companies come out with stroker kits? Economics. Not a large enough market to warrant the R&D, logistics, and marketing.
