Will Chez Summit be open for the FATT IC, or do I need to brown bag it?
They give you lunch.

You should be able to look inside the sleeve and see if it was clunking when you take everything apart.

You do need to worry about it. You want the seat shoulder belt slots to be at the same level as the top of your shoulder (or VERY close, a little (1") below is alright).
this is why I bought the "plus" model... the shoulder harness holes are taller (I sit tall as well)

hhmmm just reread some of Rob's site... realized there are a few more things i'll need to do before next summer if i want to start tracking... as my car is high mileage now, thinking i should invest in the valve retainer upgrade over next winter..

NASA Mid Atlantic is pleased to announce that all HPDE drivers at the 2011 VIR Lap Dance will get a whopping 2 hours and 50 minutes of scheduled track time.
That is really great, unless you are instructing. That would make for a long day with two students. With your own time, you would be on track for 8 and half hours.

Lou, I'm digging your avatar. Have an umbrella drink on the beach for me.

I have a Sparco EVO 2 Plus that I can sell to a junkie for relatively cheap
Wasn't interested since it's wider than I need, but this changes things:

Track junkies: What if I got this and a new Sprint 5 as my passenger seat? Would my instructors (likely some of you guys) be unhappy with that? Just brainstorming. That might be a good option for me I'd have to sit in it, and see if it was tall enough though.
