Default $26 for an oil filter?!?!

Went to Hersons Honda in Rockville today, and the guy at the counter said the the oil filter for S2k was $26! Why? Because the situation in Japan. He then lowered it to $20, still...a lot for one filter.

Now I know where to get my filters from..online.

When I remember to order parts from the dealer (because my memory sucks), it's normally after they're closed. So, I usually go to eStore Honda to order the parts and choose the option to pickup at the dealer to save shipping costs. The parts manager at my local dealer calls me when it arrives - usually in a business day or two.

FYI - Oil filter part# 15400-PCX-004 is listed for $13.30 each. IIRC, a drain plug crush washer is usually taped to it.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I check this website before actually going to the parts department to see if the dealer's price is the same.
