Hey guys my S is due for a 60K service, and i need to know what has to be done. If it is little stuff (oil change, tranny/Dif fluid, etc..) i will do it on my own. Also got any suggestion on storage because im getting ready to put my DSM back on the road for Langley (we will see how long that will last ). Thanks fellas!

Replace engine oil.
Replace engine oil and filter.
Inspect front and rear brakes.
Replace engine oil filter.
Check parking brake adjustment.
Inspect tie-rod ends, steering gearbox and rack boots.
Inspect suspension components.
Inspect driveshaft boots.
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Check all fluid levels, condition of fluids and check for leaks.
Inspect cooling system hoses and connections.
#Inspect exhaust system.
#Inspect fuel lines and connections.

Replace air cleaner element.
Replace rear differential oil.

So what's a dealer charge for all that "checkin"? I figure less than $100 for parts - the oil(s) and filters replacement......

 

I think it's going to cost more than $100 for parts.....

air intake filter
cabin filter
oil
oil filter
diff fluid

I'd say $150 bare minimum for parts then maybe 2 hrs of labor. I'm just guessing of course but I'd say you'd get a bill for $300-500 from a dealrship for that.
