quick question, say i need a few things like a brake job or w.e, i just bought the car 3k miles ago from carmax, and now i need parts, cant i take it back to them and complain? lol
I have a question. If you aren't able to perform the work yourself, how do you know what it needs? You might have enough pad, but the fluid may be contaminated with moisture.

That said, if you have zero brake pad left after 3k miles, you'd have a beef.

Unless of course, you were tracking it for those 3k miles.

Why pay for an alignment if you don't need it? why pay to have someone else inspect rubber boots for tears when you can do that yourself? The only thing I see worth paying for (if you're not the monkey wrench kind of guy) is fluids. It's a whole lot cheaper to do just fluids.

Instead of asking for a 60k checkup, tell them you want oil, tranny, and diff (if it's suggested for 60k), and you'll save half of that cost.
