Hey,

Well another GREAT track day. If you haven't done a track day
yet, SIGN UP NOW! Either that or sell your car to some who will
and cares to use the car as the designers intended.

My best time was a 1:41.27; nearly the same as best from my
last track day dispite upgrading the brake pads and fluid. I was
hoping for better. I'm still in the novice group but some people
drive VERY S L O W on the track. In my second session, I nearly
lapped the field which included an 80's 911 and a 97 SVT Cobra.

If you're one of the slow pokes on the track, that's fine, just
waive faster traffic by. Thank You.

I went out with one of the instructors during the instructor
session. DAMN! are those guys FAST! On the third lap one of the
instructors in a Gen III RX-7 back it off into the tires at turn 4.
Every panel on the passenger side was bent. Ouch...

There were four S2000s and one Boxster which should tell you
something about Boxsters owners. But you probably already
knew that most of them are cell-phone-yappin'-poseurs.

I was there - (the ugly yellow, blue, and silver S) - agree with your sentiments - what a complete blast... I managed to pass my buddy in his '96 911 and my buddy in his black S would not let me pass... Everyone should do FATT at least once in their S's...

How and where do I sign up? What would I need to do to get started?

Excellent! Glad you had a great time. It is a blast for sure.

I will be there this Friday for my first Seat Time. Will be picking up my car tomorrow, it is at Curry's having the dust shields removed and a new change of brake fluid.

Hey Reston - Please post what you think of "Seat Time". I am signed off to run, but I always hear it is full of hotheads who do not abide by the normal rules, and may try to outbrake you into a turn. There seem to always be problems with some of the guys in group 2 passing without signals and then you watch everyone darting left and right in avoidance.

I do think you get more track time though. After 5 total track days at summit, I decided that was enough for now. It is nice to try other courses... i had a great time on the Jefferson course despite top speed being just over 100mph.

Eltanti - I thnk my stock 4 door GSR integra ran 1:37ish with no instructor in my car.

Wow; kicked my ass. In my own defense, I don't think I got a completely clear lap.
