While I never had him touch the first nugget, I did do a bit of business with Kienan when I had my STi for a few months. Absolutely great guy! I do not believe he has done too much work on the F20C though; at least he hadn't back then, things could have changed. In regards to the AEM EMS, he is very knowledgeable on tuning using it.

Shad at Accuracy is does rather good work, however being so well known in the area he does have a short fuse and his level of customer service is lacking. Several of my friends visited his shop just once to get an estimate and never went back, not due to price, but the attitude that Shad had giving you the feeling you were bothering him.
Good tuner though.

Is your heart set on staying local? There are many more shops in the NoVa/DC area who have much more experience in tuning the S2000.

Well, I dont want to get it towed. And I know about Ptuning and Inline Pro. If they were local I would be all over it. I am pretty sure my HG is blown so I will baby it to a local shop. Chances are I will go through accuracy though. I can deal with attitudes if it means better subject knowledge. My friend that referred me to Kienan has an 06 STI. So that would make sense. Thanks.

Kienan is a great guy and does good work. I've known him for several years and he'll go out of his way to make sure his customers are happy.

Shad is also a great guy that does good work. He often gets a bad rap when it comes to attitude. I can admit he can be short with people when he is overwhelmed but he has been extremely helpful to me in the past. He even showed me the ropes at several track events when I was a total newb. He's been working on my cars for 15 or so years.

It would be his best bet to let them pull the head and tune it. No point in taking it multiple places to work done. One stop shopping is where its at. And they have all the equipment to do whatever is necessary to the head, machine shop wise.

Okay so I am going to go through Accuracy. They seem to be more knowledable about Hondas. And that is what counts. I am not going to go in expecting an "attitude" and even if I get one. I love my baby and I will deal with anything to get her well again.
