Im going to the autocross in frederick on sat then heading down to alexandria to hang out with some friends... They are all fairly new to the area so I was wondering where you guys suggest. All I know of down there is a bar called Zigs, and Murpheys...

 

Well, Zigs is in Fox Chase. Directly across Duke Street is Mango Mikes.

It is owned by Mike Anderson. And on Monday nights for Happy Hour he has half priced Margarita Night. One can get a half priced Margarita in a 12 oz glass for $2.56. during Happy Hour. Andreas, is one of the bar tenders. If you take good care of him, he will take good care of you.

I just moved out of alexandria, but Zigs sucks, dont go there. Mango mikes is cool but too many dudes show up, it can be a sausage party sometimes. i would go to the Bungalow in shirlington. or there are a few places in old town like the Rock It grill, or the laughing lizard, chadwicks (by the torpedo factory) But the one that i really suggest is called Dr. Dreamos in Clarendon, they let you play beer pong! hot girls and fun place. enjoy!

 

go to georgetown or adams morgan instead...

 

by the way.. the auto x is in manassas... if you're doing the one with tubedriver...
