I have find find the specs I had on my Street AP2, it drove really well, tracked straight as a arrow and was stable at all speeds, even go to jail and be on the news speeds.

You want just a whisper of toe-in and I do mean a whisper or smallest amount, That helps the stability a lot

Camber and higher (must be even) Caster help too.

You need to ask for a custom alignment or you will get a "within spec" misalignment.

Good input, gfacter!

Hey, I don't mind the S2K being a little "twitchy", I had an alignment to sport specs on the Miata and it was really light on the trigger -- but the S2K now will pull smartly on the wheel in your hands and I don't want my wife driving it for now.

I'll think we'll be talking soon. Contacted TR about ordering a set of summer wheels/tires for the RSX-S and might have them shortly -- we'll do that one first.

Great news in that they're repaving the nasty road I use on my afternoon commute (all the alternatives had "other issues") so maybe now an alignment will last longer. Alas, nothing is given without a price... this rural road now has a speed camera hidden in the trees around a blind corner.

I've been using the Goodyear tire store in bethesda.
Been very happy with the service and very happy w the alignment. They had no problem in using the spec's I brought in

That's the one place in Bethesda where one could get a parking spot.

That could be my "plan B", probably going to PM VPS_AP1 and try Waldorf first. Just ordered Enkei RFP01's and Yoko AD08's for the wife's RSX-S, supposed to deliver from Tire Rack today, will do her alignment first and bolt up the new wheels/tires all at once.

Thanks, James for the attention you gave the spousemobile; it seems like it's tracking much better now.

I'll be coming back (despite the long drive!) for the S2000's alignment.

No problem! Hopefully when we schedule the s2000 I won't be so busy. But I'm glad she's happy with it.

The rear toe was toed out and the l/f toe was out. camber was biased to the "left" on the front. That and they went from 17" rims to 16" to increase the amount of sidewall to be more forgiving with road conditions.
