Alignment ?'s
Not to change the subject too drastically here, but while you're over at Tirerack take a look at the Goodyear F1's GS-D3 (something to that affect) - since you're probably going to be in the same boat I was

Nope. I've ruled them out. Also, I'll be going with 17's. I just made that decision final earlier. Haven't purchased any yet, but it'll be 17's for sure. I'll be getting either Pilot Sport PS2's or BFG TA/KD's. If money becomes a factor I may have to opt for MX's. There is a bout $270 differnece between the MX's and the KD's.

I personally did not like the long, thin tread design of the Yoko AVS Sports. It has been my experience that I like the bigger block tread designs.
And now, I've ruled out the PS2's because it seems as though the 255/40/17 tire will no longer be produced, but it is in stock at TR.
And the reviews on TR are just guidelines. Take a look where it ranks the S-02... enough said.

Well, I was relying more on their actual track and road test comparisons than I was relying on the user feedback reviews. The PS2's and the GS-D3's seemed to dominate in the Max Performance Summer category.

Just a little additive to this thread. I had an alignment done today and here are the specs:
Old (I was a tad out
) - but this comes from lowering the car a little more and changing wheels and tires.
Camber 1.5L front 0R front _____-1.9L rear -2.2R rear
Caster 5.9L front 5.7R front _____no caster settings on the print out for the rear
Toe -.13L front .06R front _____.24L rear .16R rear
New settings (and I love it
)
Camber -1.6L front -1.5L front _____-2.5L rear -2.5R rear
Caster 6.1L front 5.2R front ______still no caster for the rear
Toe .01L front -.01R front ______.19L rear .29R rear
I'm no expert on caster and toe and with the "not normal to a Toyota dealership" camber settings tried to get the caster and toe as close to Honda's alignment specs based on what the machine stated. I was told to come back if these are too out of whack, so I'm going to be doing some caster and toe research in the Technical forum. But the camber is
- we put it out to -3 just to see what it looked like and good lord
- wonder what some of these drift cars run
