well around 12am i got hit by a truck that didnt have the balls to stay and man up to his mistakes.. i was in manassas on hastings drive at a stop sign.. i fully stop at the stop sign(yes i actually did because there was a tree blocking my right side view) but as soon as i start to take off , a truck slams into me right in the middle of the intersection. i spun around and as soon as i got myself together i see the truck speeding off like a punk.. i called the cops to get a report and they thought i was lying about the whole thing.. a peice of my rear bumper fell off and i put it inside my car. the thought i was lying because my whole car was wet and the peice i put inside my car was dry.. they thought i hit something else or wrecked somewere else. check the pics out. insurance 570 a month, just got a improper driving. now a hit and run.. imagine how broke ima be now..

WOW that sucks. if i were you i would have sped after him and gotten his plate #. then his car could have been inspected by the authorities and they would have seen the corresponding damage. too bad it was all icy...

 

That definitely sucks, sorry to hear that. What kind of car was it, what color, did you get the plates? All these things might help you catch this guy. I imagine if he hit your car there is going to be some sign on red paint on his car. Hope everything works out for you

 

$570 a month for insurance? Looks like it's time to sell the car. With your ticket and the hit and run, it's definitely going up.

 

his insurance would go up if someone hit him and ran? what insurance does that? i have nationwide and mine doesnt go up for a hit and run...

dude, $570 a month just for insurance is insane. even if you financed the full $30k at 5% over 60 months, THAT would still be less than $570/month...

that's when you know you're paying too much. buy a 1989 civic and just get the minimum liability insurance that you need.

and stop driving like a wacko in the first place.

no selling my car people have told me that before. my cars paid off so theres no car payemtns. well i have progressive and yes my insurance will go up for hit and run. maybe i should switch to nationwide. but yea progressive is really great. everything is gonna be covered including my rental car.. what sucks is that its gonna take 3 weeks to getr my car back. so ill be driving a grand prix for now lol.. its so slowwwww.
