I do User Interface Design/Development but I'm also a Business Analyst.

so I get paid to work with HTML/CSS/JavaScript

I get to yell at software engineer/programmers/developers everyday for writing crappy code. That's the good part of the day.

I replied to this shortly after it was first posted, but my response disappeared

I'm an EE by education, but end up doing a 60/40 mix of firmware/hardware design with some GUI stuff thrown in. I recently finished the firmware for a 1.5GHz up/downconverter, currently updating a .NET GUI for one of our RF receiver control systems to deal with more transmit channels.

And, of course, LEDs rule my after-hours life

Ooo. Quite a few devs up in here. I'm a computer engineer myself. Program mostly for NAVAIR down here. .Net, Linux, you name it, I've probably heard of it (if not *tried* to program in it).

what exactly do you do with leds? i too am a EE, started playing with seven segment displays and lcd displays driven by a microcontroller on my time off between finishing school and starting my job. since i started working havent been playing with them much. if you play with these stuff too id love to see what youve done.
