I have it. I like to use it because I don't need to have any tools to change my oil.

I would not trust my oil drain plug, or filter, to anything but OEM.

That is just me.

Good or Bad? Neither imo. I like to have a magnetic drain plug so it personally does not interest me at the moment.
I'd rather take care of my engine than have an easy oil change.

I'd rather not have one. Having to do a oil change the normal way gives you the opportunity to get under the car and inspect the undercarriage while the oil is draining. Cutting corners only increases your chances for bigger problems down the road instead of catching them early.

I don't think I would ever give it a chance.

I have it and have had absolutely no issues with it. One of the first mods I did. And definitely love it.

I figured if it leaked or I had issues I would just put the stock drain bolt back on.

I ordered mine directly from Fumoto and have been running with it for 7-8 years now. Never had a problem except during installation... the friend who was installing it torqued too hard and broke it off from the threads (it's brass, not steel, so don't make the same mistake). Fumoto sent me a new one free of charge.

I have an AEM intake and a lower cross brace, and this makes changing my oil as simple as can be. No need to jack it up, just reach down and replace the filter and flip the switch. Okay, to be fair, I need to lift up on my car just a bit to get the oil pan under there due to my aftermarket sideskirts.

Get the version with the nipple, but I've never had a need to hook any tube to it as it clears the cross brace just fine.
