Hey all,
I was wondering if there is anyone in richmond to do some checking of my clutch for me? Ive been driving this car for only 4~5 months and I don't know if my clutch is going bad or not. Can anyone help me out???

You can bring your car by me and let me drive it around the block for a comparison to my own clutch. What exactly do you feel isn't right with it?

 

Take it to Dinwiddie. Have some guys there try it out at the strip and then report back their findings.

Seriously though, the stock clutch should last quite a while if driven properly.

 

I live west of Richmond...but commute into work to Southern States Corporate office near Broad & Glenside (in the GE Financial complex across from Altria's HQ).

old way to check your clutch is to get moving in first gear at about 3-5mph. Then step on the brake and the gas. If the clutch is good the car will stall.
If the clutch is slipping the car will not stall.

very basic and easy to perform.
