Default Anyone know how to remove the defrost button panel

My story briefly is this.. I bought an 03 s2k from a Nissan Dealership. As part of the deal they had to buy me a new center console (the guy had cut it to put in an XM radio in the change holder spot). I got my new console, but it has the Pre 03 defroster button panel instead of a change holder. I can get the change holder for like 10 bucks But I cant figure out how to remove that button panel. This is right behind the cup holder.

I don't know if this will help. I don't have access to Rick's website, but there are instuctions on how to put the center console back on. But here is the link.

http://www.ricks2k.com/info/instruct...fitconsole.pdf

I hope it's useful.

Remove the center console and the switch is screwed in on the bottom on the console.

Ricks seems to be down, I will check that out later though.. thanks..

Looking at the bottom of the console, I do see where your saying its screwed it, but they look more like tacks than screws.. I dont see like a spot for a philips head or anything its just a flat round head with a small dot in the middle .. Ok I know that sounded bad but you know what I mean .

if you are on the pentagon network and you are trying to access rick's, it won't let you. You would have to try from home. I'm on the pentagon network also.

It should be one screw. The exact middle on the switch assembly, on the bottom side, there will be one phillips screw holding the switch in place.

click on my photo album and go to center console retro fit. There are some pics there. Sorry, all that comes up are red "x" when I try to post them.
