I let him borrow one of my radios on a drive back in June, he left while we were all walking around at the incident at the end of the run without giving it back. After a couple PM's back and forth about getting it sent back to me, he has not responded to any other PM's from me or a couple others on the board. Not sure if he has been too busy to come on and read, or just plain too busy.

If someone close by who knows him can go over and knock on his door to remind him to send to me, I would appreciate it.

I will not play mother hen here, but I agree that this situation has taken entirely too long to resolve. There are often times that owners with 2 radios will gladly provide one of theirs to a member that has none. However, situations such as Keith's here cause owners of radios pause when asked to lend one out at a meet...and rightly so.

Matt, you need to get Keith's radio back to him. There is no reason this should take so long. It is about an address, a box, a little bit of packaging peanuts, and a "Thanks for the use...sorry for the delay in return." I hope you will take the few minutes necessary to resolve this matter for Keith and return his radio he lent you back in June.

I live near him and will be happy to pick it up and send it to you. I have to go to the dealer (his workplace) anyway. PM him and set it up, I'll do the rest.

I'm tired. Ok, I have his phone number somewhere, I'll try giving him a call. Or why not call checkered flag and ask to speak to him?

Im going to Checkered Flag on Thursday for a warranty thing, If I see him, I will ask him about it.

 

Have any of you seen him, or is he as elusive in person as he appears to be to PM's?

i just saw this thread, kieth i apologise 100%. when i first sent the radio it was sent back to my address. i went to CALI to about a week and a half and read my PM's while i was there and forgot when i came back. the radio has been sitting in my garage since it was returned. please PM me with your new address agian so i can get it to the right place. never meant to cause any grief to anyone here. yall know me, im a good guy will send first thing monday morning. sorry again.

 

k, i figured you were just caught up with something/swamped and work and not able to get around to it. as strange as it sounds, some people do not check this board for stuff every 10 minutes....
