Default Anyone work at an Acura Dealer?

So the cd player is my wifes car stopped playing cd's, so I purchased a used oem sigle cd player from a totaled rsx. I have the VIN of the doner vehicle, can someone help me get the factory radio code?

My experience?

Just call or show up in person with the receipt of purchase and the information off the radio - did it at my Honda dealer for an old Accord CD player I bought.

Also depending on the year of the car and the cd player it came out of Honda themselves have a Radio Code retrieval page.

if its the radio out of a 05-06 you can hold down 1 and 6 when you turn on the radio and it will flash the serial number[U][B]

I was under the impression that just showed the serial number, not the code?
