Default Attack of the nooby questions

I'll just dive right into them.

I live in Owings Mills, MD and was wondering if there was a good shop/dealership to bring an s2k to for standard maintainance between Laurel/Colombia, Owings Mills, Towson, over to the White Marsh area.
I just want to deal with a shop that has actualy serviced an s2k before and not one that has to dig out a manual to do an oil change on it.

Also, I know becoming a member of S2KI gives a discount on purchasing some things. By any chance do basic members get a discount on tires at the tire rack?

Thanks in advance

the only shop that i can recommend is my brother who works on my car. he works at frankel acura in cockeysville.

he does know of a tech up at heritage honda service on york rd that knows what he is doing. i'd have to find out his name for you though.

No discounts at TireRack b/c we're s2ki.com members . Sorry... Tirerack is simply a vendor that provides this site with some additional operating revenue as a sponsor. Helps keep that which we like (this site) up and runnin'.

Im with Dan, Frankel Acura is a good place to go, a lil outta the way from owings mills but they are the only guys i trust with my car since my experience with Heretage Honda in Towson (stay away!)..... Im actually taking my car there tomorrow to have them do an oil change for me. If you are in the area and wanna swing by I will be up that way around noonish? Then go to wash/wax the car!

No interest in doing the service yourself? I've vowed to do all regular maintence on this car on my own. On top of not liking to pay way too much for service, the one person I REALLY trust to do the job right is myself. I know exactly what fluids were put in and exactly what filter was used. But that's just me.

I agree with Insert that Heritage SUCKS! I did find another mechanic though up in Timonium that is really good, and he owns an S2k himself. If you're fine with not going to a dealer, his name is Jeff Wise and his shop number is 410-252-8361. The shop is called Wise Automotive - 1947 Greenspring Drive...basically right off Timonium Road and 83. If you go there you can tell him that Brad with the silver S2k referred you.

I'd do the work myself but I have no place to do it most of the time.
Only place I could do normal stuff is my dads house which is like 45 min drive away and we never have the same days off.
