August 25th AutoX
Has anyone heard about / or is anyone planning to go to the August 25th AutoX at FedX Field? I read about it on another board and I am trying to find more information about it.

Nix-
While you wait for you badge (hehe), go check out http://www.autocrossers.org for info on DC-area auto-x's.
You might also want to check out http://www.nasaracing.net/autox/index.shtml for events near Richmond at Virginia Motorsports Park.

Another questions, what all goes into these events? I have never done one before, but I am just really interested in getting to make my S drive like she is supposed to. My car is brand new too, only 1800 miles, does that make a difference?

AS long as she's broken in, you're set to go. Better to push her at these kind of events, and getting to know her limit, rather than on a public road with traffic. I'll be going to the next one on the 18th at Rosecroft along with a few other guys from here. We'll be there in the afternoon. Just hope I make it in, I'm on the waitlist.

I am going to be there along with 2 other S2000s, not including Fed if he gets in. If this is your first time, I would recommend browsing through the Race section of the Forum to get an idea of what tire pressures you may want to run. 38psi F and R is a decent starting point. Here are a few tips to help out a newbie:
