If they let us run last time, I don't see why this one would be different. I believe the registration for the last event said the same thing.

 

oh, did it? I couldn't recall. So, went and tried to get to that last event announcement but they've removed it. I'm hoping so too. Will update here anyways when I hear from Joe.

Btw, since we are not sure if we can get the Main or Shenandoah circuit(or either ) for Fall Colors, getting experience on both course beforehand will definitely be mo' betta!

 

Registration is open. S2000s do not need external rollbars. I do not believe that you have to be a Mercedes member. It would be nice to see 12+ S2000s out there next time. I'll be instructing at this event.


You do need a rollbar and Mercedes membership for the VIR event next week.



BTW, Sunday's Summit Point event was miserable, it rained all day and the track was SUPER slick. A Lotus in one of my students run groups ended up on it's roof. If you plan on tracking your S2000 a lot you should get a real rollbar.

yes. he was in my run group. (crx no s2k). very slippery.. but by the last two sessions you kind get the hang of where and what to do.

first two sessions = horrible
last two = fun

 

Just got off the phone with a good buddy from college... He asked me to be in his wedding that just so happens to be this weekend.
