Did anyone see the article on page 22 of the March 28th issue of AutoWeek? I just read it, and it was really cool. It talks all about a guy with an S2000 who bought almost all of his mods from people in the For Sale forum on S2KI. It speaks pretty highly of our community.

He even bought his Amuse R1 titanium exhaust from someone in Virginia. Anyone here? The guy's name is Dan Chen and he lives in NY.

I think he was at Fall Colors. I remember seeing a black S with ITBs and a non-stock hood. An Asian guy owned it but I can't remember his name. Now I have to buy the issue.

liking his car but not the wheels... and ummmm... i'm still a little confused as to why he still has that intake snorkle eventho he has itbs... hummmm...

 

Dan bought that exhaust about 4 years ago from "1randyc" (not sure if he is even an S2000 owner any more)..... He had that exhaust at the Ashville thing in 2001.

 

he also has a set of 18" HRE's that i sold him... they were crap when i sold them to him, but he had them redone.... those mugen wheels are goofy looking to me too. someone had them powdercoated for some reason.

Not sure about the intake snorkle either..... maybe he wanted to keep the 50:50 balance and needed that 1lb up there?
