Default Awful Noise

The other day after the bad weather was over
I went on a drive to Norfolk. In some traffic I
coasted at about 10 mph and then out of the blue
heard an AWFUL noise. I thought it was a lawn
mower or something off in the distance. It was in
fact my car and it sounded like a dying whale..
It had some kind of relation to speed due to the f
act that when i applied slight break pressure it
changed in pitch and when i sped up it went away.
I later noticed that this sound occurs shortly after
starting the car and driving a very short distance at a low speed.

It sounded like it was coming from my passenger/passenger
side rear. Anyone ever heard of a dying whale noise?
Possibly caused by the weather? Might also be brake
related. I did notice a considerable amount of rust on
the outer edge of one of my rotors. Haven't driven the
car since, driving a beater just to be safe.

Also, I'm moving to the UK! Anyone know how well
S2000s hold up in that country? Repair/maintenance
opportunities? Going to hit up the UK forum soon. Thanks.

Never heard of the dying whale sound, but try to jack up the car and check your tires for any unusual play and drive it around the block on a good weather to see if same sound will come out.
